Evening folks. Earlier today received the very sad news that Peter Mayoh, a stalwart member of the Pennine Branch for many years, passed away this morning.
As you know, he has been suffering from ill health for quite a while now, and after a brave battle, he has finally succumbed to his illness.
Sending sincere condolences to Joan, his family, and friends.
He will be sorely missed.
RIP Pete “Pumpkin” Mayoh.

As Peter has nobly donated his body to Manchester Teaching Hospital, there will be no funeral. Joan has asked if we can have a Memorial Brekkie at The Morris Dancers pub in Colne.
This will be held at 10:00 on the 24th November.
Joan also told me that Peter requested that instead of flowers, donations be made, which will go to The Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Pennine Branch. A suitable donation page is being arranged.
