Well what a cracking turnout for Pete’s Memorial Brekkie.
Luckily most of the floods from the previous day had dropped and we had around 40 people
enjoying a big greasy breakfast just as Pete would have wanted😂
Tales of rallies past, Whiskey drunk and corny jokes told, were fondly remembered
It was great to see the Danum Guzzi Crew there. Thanks for making the trip over folks.
We had a final collection for the fund, and the grand total raised was an outstanding £1556.47. A massive thank you to you all, including the folks from the Clox Back weekend who raised £310:clap:
Joan said she would like to split the funds 50/50 between the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and The Pennine Branch, which I agreed to do cos she was threatening me with bodily harm if I didn’t accept on behalf of the branch.
(Once done we shall make a donation from the Pennine Branch to the Air Ambulance…shhhhh Don’t tell her😉)
Once again, may I, on behalf of Joan and family, give a huge thank you to all those of you who have donated. What a fantastic response, which shows just how much Peter was loved and respected
