After getting hopelessly lost in deepest darkest mid-Wales I have decided I need a satnav. Are there any recommendations for quadlock mounts on the V85tt +5. I don’t really want it mounted on the mirror arms at it looks scarily vulnerable.
Welcome to the forum
I use handlebar mount pro (same design as the cheaper one but more metal), with a vibration damper and wireless charging head.
Cheers for that. My first Guzzi, bought in July and I love it.
Thanks for that. Looks good to me.
Just in answer to the original question, on all my bikes it tends to be left handlebar near top yoke clamp. This is the h/bar clamp type Quad Lock, comes with three different sizes of rubber reducers to match whatever diameter you’ve got. I can also use it on the bicycle. ![]()

Hi - I’ve mounted it on a Givi bar - main advantage is the phone screen is above the dash. Givi bar is great - although Aliexpress versions are cheaper.
Does the bar attach to the screen. I couldn’t find the item on the Givi website
Dej, the give bar only fits pre 2024 (E5+) models, ie the ones that have 4 fixings for the screen.
I use an Evotech fitting, EP Quad Lock Compatible Handlebar Clamp Sat Nav Mount | Moto Guzzi V85 TT – Evotech-Performance
Good shout GuzziEagles!
Already have the quadlock vibration damper. Took it off my bike the other day before it goes tomorrow ready to fund the V85TT I’ve put a deposit down on.
@CaliSteve - do the quadlock reducing rings work with this bar or do you need something else?
@GuzziEagles - where does that evotech mount to?
I have quadlock and trying to find best place for fitting so the phone doesn’t obstruct the screen.
So far this is where I have mounted the phone mount. Haven’t had chance to go out and get it aligned properly so it’s at the right angle for me. But this is the position that I have mounted it.
Ignore the screw. I emailed quadlock as I took the usb charger from out of the old set up and didn’t have the shorter screw. I was surprised that they sent me a pack of screws in fairness.
The Evotech mount uses the lower bolts from the bar clamp. And has a central part for tilt adjustment. If I don’t get on with how I have mounted it, I may opt for the evotech. Not cheap though.
affair, here are a few photos of the evotech mount on my 2024 V85 Strada and on the 2024 Stelvio accessory bar (using the small bar clamp).
what app is that on your phone?
That would be the Scenic Motorcycle Navigation app.
I’ve been looking at that but last time i checked it was iPhone only although android version being worked on
edit: seems there is a beta android version now, which I’m downloading ![]()
short test today of the beta android version of scenic on way home from work, some nice features, i like it so far.
I’ve been using Scenic from June 2020, so obviously I like it. Bit of a hiccup last October when forced to bring out version 4.
yes, i read the blog a few months ago about here maps upping the price. thr guzzi app still uses here maps but I suppose they can afford it.
