Rapid flashing indicators

Hi
My 2004 California EV had developed rapidly flashig indicators (both front and rear, left and right). I have checked the connections to all the indicators and WD40’d them. But actually the flashing has speeded up :frowning: Does anyone have any ideas what might be the cause.

Try a new Relay The most probable reason.

On my LMIV its often caused by a poor earth.

LED bulbs can do this as well.

I have bought a new flasher which worked for a while but then speeded up again. So I have asked my son who is an electronics expert to design me an electronic flashing relay.

Good evening, just fitted a new one to my '95 Cailifornia 1100i, it was doing similar and the relay was definitely tired, so I got a ‘tuneable’ one off Amazon, can be dialled to your desired flash rate to work with the like of LEDs and so on. Fitted in moments, works great!
