Rear brake light switch on Galletto please anyone?

Help required - have a test coming up soon and have discovered the rear switch is not turning the stop light on.

scoured internet and found nothing similar, anybody know of other makes which could do the job?

I bought one of these on Ebay for mine. I knocked up a bracket to fix it to the frame from a bit of scrap alloy. It’s been ok for a year or so…

Very kind Nick, after trawling web for hours there are actually masses of options but not being a metal worker, hope to goodness any judges dont look under the panel!!!

Which bike did you do this for?

Regards, Hugh.

Hugh, this is on my 175 Galletto, and no, the metal work isn’t pretty but it does the job and is out of site! Getting an original proved nigh impossible! I can take a picture of the mount if that helps?

What a beaut, well done! My mechanic says not to worry, he will make anything fit, phew!

Mine was delivered unseen Tuesday morning, went through it with a magnifying glass, cleaned oil tank, yuk!, and she was running by 3! Only other negative is wheel rims where spoke goes in mildly rusting on some! Thinking possibly clear super glue if it fails test?

Not sure how the Galleto switch works, but i have used a scooter one on my Stornello like this ….

Alternatively a side stand cut out switch will also work.

Thank you very much for the very comprehensive tip!
