Higher specification than standard is always a good thing

An American supplier, very cheap relays, been on the Jackal for 4 years no problems. Fast service, he sent me the relays before he got the money.[/QUOTE]ordered Cali 1100i relays over last weekend, recieved e-mail from them on Sunday evening ( our time) confirming order, they came today (Friday) at 11am! very good service indeed, I ordered ten including a few for spare and the total cost including p+p was just below £18 good service!!!
I actually rang Dan as well he is a really nice guy.
Just to re-open the relay debate, does anyone know of a supplier, and indeed what type, of the relays fitted to the latest models, such as the Norge, 1200S etc?
These are four pin relays, pins laid out like this -
I I
I I
Any ideas?
I would contact Dan as above he is very good with this stuff. Did you get your alarm sorted Brian?
Dan doesn’t have them listed on his website, I looked.
Still trying to find the wiring bits on the bike, before getting stuck into the alarm.
This is why I discovered the different relays. I had some of the micro relays, and thought that would suffice, but no.
These new ones are the same physical size, but different pin layout. And they have a clip to hold them onto the connector.
Phone Dan or e-mail him and ask mate if he does not have them he may know where you can get them.
I had better take one out and get a photo of it first.
Cant agree more with those who use dpguzzi, great priceand great service, sorted cali andV11.
Brian take the info off the side of the relay it should give you type and other info just e-mail dan and ask his opinion and what to replace them with.

Full set ordered for the V11 on evening of the 13th from Pyro Dan, (Cheers for the lead GB). Arrived today from USA. Total cost? £11 and some change. Big thumbs up to Dan.
Well I got the reccomendation from Patrick but yeah Dan is a really nice guy I actually rang him and we had a fairly long Guzzi chat with invites both ways if ever each was in the others Country.
On more than one occasion he has posted the relays before the payment has got to him.
OK, the relays on the new CARC bikes are different.
Can anyone identify them, and point to a supplier.
Pyro Dan does not keep them.
why do the carc relays need to be changed? I thought the relay problem was confined to poor reliability OEM relays on certain models pre-carc. Have any carc model relays failed?
Not that I know of, but a spare is always useful.
Re Pyro Dan relays here is the link and I have permission from Dan to add the FAQ part from his site
Off topic but I see Patrick is still a member of the club.
Wonder if he still gets to peak at the mag.
I shall have a beer for him tonight.
This was discussed BUT the webmaster and mods felt it a good idea to leave him online, it does create a memory …
