Hello,
I’m replacing the oil seals either side of the clutch, so where the drive shaft comes out of the engine, and where it goes into the gearbox. I want to get it right, I don’t fancy this level of dismantling a second time soon. In my enthusiasm I inserted the new oil seals as far as they would go (about 2-3mm below the surface), then remembered that the originals were flush with the surface. Is this going to be a problem? I’d rather replace them correctly now if they should be flush.
Thanks in advance,
Doug
