Running lean?

Lean? …or not too bad?

Attention needed? Air getting in somewhere maybe?
(Standard air filter). Or leave alone?

…I bought these as standard plugs for a V50 but I’ve just noticed they’re NGK BP6ES. Shouldn’t they be BP7 or 8ES?

Any opinions welcome.

I always used NGK BP7ES on V50s. Colour looks ok in my opinion.

…Not sure if looking at internet images doesn’t make you over-fussy. …BP7ES next.

the higher numbers are cooler plugs so will resist overheating but also soot up more easily at low speeds and may be harder to start

Thanks. I’ve ordered some 7’s, see what the difference is like.

Start on 6’s, then when hot switch to 7’s:))

Applies to every cold start:)

Take the plugs out of a hot engine?
