Servicing in Essex

Hi, relatively new to the club and hoping to find out where in Essex I can get my 2008 Griso serviced in particular I may need a new UJ, the transmission feels a bit ‘snatchy’.

Moto Guzzi servicing Essex

Hi all, hope everyones been enjoying time out on the roads wasnt sure where to post this but thought Essex branch forum seemed a good place. My 2019 V7 iii Stone is due a service, I live in the Rayleigh area and after any recommendations for Guzzi servicing? I am always happy to ride a few miles and wait whilst being done, but if there is a mechanic good with Guzzi’s near to me then great. Cheers all Mark

Yes, thanks Barry, I spotted them on website search along with Sycamore at Witham, I was just fishing for ‘good experiences’ I usually do my own servicing and mechanics.

Yes thanks Barry, i booked in locally with a place i had used for other bikes in the end as I had a throttle lag problem and needed to get sorted before a weekend ride. Went to passbike in Rochford, which is a training school, garage and sales site. they are very helpful there, and for those in this area who know him Mo is a top mechanic. So had 12000 mile service , MOT and the issue all done at the same time.

good to read this, i will probably take my GRISO there for MOT and maybe get them to check the UJs

Hi Barry hope you got sorted, just had a week touring round the UK on V7, held up well, managed to shake a couple of exhaust cover dome bolts out that was all. I see you’re in Rayleigh, am in Hockley was going to go to the Shepherd and Dog meeting.
