I put this post in the wrong place. Hohum. This is what happens when you drink some Amazon Valpolicello.

Anyway, owning 2 V85ā€™s has infected me and there is, apparently, no cure for the Mandello virus. So, today I have place a deposit on a 2015 Norge 1200 GT 8V. I would appreciate any advice on issues to anticipate and resolve ahead of time. The elephant in the room being the 8V flat tappet issue. But as far as my limited internet research goes (Paul Roper in Oz) everything produced from the factory after 2012 should be good. Happy (genuinely) to be disabused of this and any other notion I possess.

Flat tappets and siezed up rear suspension linkages are the 2 things to look out for. Iā€™m sure there was a recent post about the rear suspension problems in this forum, a search should find it.
