Hi, what size is the socket plz, for the nut on the rear wheel spindle, 72reg V85TT Evocative. Thanks in advance , Simon

I used 27mm 6 point socket on my V85 Strada.

26mm is the correct size. 100N/m torqued.

Thank you all, I left my larger socket set in a truck I sold recently, accidentally, so only have up to 24mm at home. I’ll locate a 27mm one now. Many thanks :it:

Its 26mm just been out to the garage to double check.

27mm will fit but there is too much rock so you risk damaging the (quite thin) nut.

Incidentally 26mm is the same socket size as 9/16w if that helps smile

Thank u so much, I’ve ordered a 26mm now off Amazon :joy: kickin myself for letting my large socket set go in the truck I sold . Cheers again, oh, footnote, I have a small amount of Whitworth, but not 9/16 :laughing:
