Spada NT luggage options

Hi folks,

Just wondering if anyone has fitted the Hepco and Becker pannier frames and panniers to this bike, were there any problems fitting it? Did the pillion footrests need to be moved forward a bit. I’m a bit concerned that there may not be enough room between the front of the pannier and the pillion footrests. If the pillion footrests need to go forward a bit is this possible? I would appreciate any information and advice from any spada owners out there.

Cheers

Bob

Why are you going for H+B?
IMHO Givi are streets ahead.

Hi Ian,

I wasn’t aware that Givi did a rack/ pannier frame combo for the spada. Will have a look.

Many thanks

Bob

Just fitted Krauser K2 panniers to my T3, very pleased with them, had some on my old Brit T Bird so just bought some second hand rails to fit to the T3, i like these rails, they don’t look to bad with the panniers off, jobs a good un.

Thanks chilly something else to consider.

All the best

Bob

I’ve got an old set if Sigma panniers on my Spada.
They come up for sale occasionally and most frames should be capable of being modified to fit

Thanks again Don

Not exactly close by, but he may post them. Any good for you?
They were on a Le-Mans, so should fit a Spada. They’re certainly cheap enough
“2 motorcycle panniers would suit 80s 90s motorcycles used on a Moto Guzzi Le Mans back in the day come with a full rack and fitting and instructions”

Hi Don,

Thanks again but could’ open up the link. Ordered pannier frames and panniers from Gutsibits so am sorted now. Just have to find time to fit them. I really appreciate the fact that you have taken the time to look out this stuff. Thanks again and I will have a few questions for you in the near future no doubt.

Cheers

Bob

If anyone else fancies some old Sigma panniers and rack tor a Le-Mans or other old Tonti frame bike, they are £20 on Shpock and are located in Essex, near Southend.
