Spoiler alert. AliExpress wins again!

I know there are some who would rather pay three times the price and buy from inside their own country (even if the product was made in China anyway) and they should look away now! :joy: . Having ridden bikes for over 45 years now I am used to having my head in the breeze but have to admit the buffeting above 70mph with the standard screen is a royal pain in the aris. So having bought some pretty good stuff for our v85’s fro AliExpress,
I decided to look at windscreen deflectors. I order a pair and to be honest didn’t expect much given the price of £7.19 each, (about a tenner with tax) and that includes delivery. Well after a couple of weeks of waiting, they have arrived and I am speechless. These things are every bit as well made as the premium stuff out there at 10 times the price. Fitted perfectly and are fully adjustable without tools. You can alter the height as well as the rake. The small gray smoked version is a perfect match for the standard screen and all the fastenings are stainless steel. I have not ridden with it yet due to the cr@p weather but given the considerable adjustment available I fully expect an improvement, even if it takes a bit of trial and error.

Goose with it set higher.

Picture, please!

Thanks.

Are these V85 specific?

Not v85 specific but fits perfectly as you can see in the pictures.

Looks great Mick. I’m after a screen but will most likely need to go with the givi as they all seem to be handlebar mounted. Even puig, which by the way, is the same spec as similar on Ali. The givi uses the headlight mounts.

Might try one of those extensions on my Vstrom, though I find the screen really good generally. I’ve a smaller fly screen on my V7, it surprised me how much colder it was riding the Guzzi t’other day when the temp dropped. I’ve ridden bike with good fairings for so long I’d forgotten how cool the windchill can be. Actually, think I’ll order a couple, try one on the small Guzzi screen and give one to r’kid to try on his Enfield with a similar screen. At those prices as you say, it’s worth a punt :+1:

I had a VStrom and fitted the genuine Suzuki touring screen. Fantastic bit of gear if blinking expensive.

I have a 2021 V7. Has anyone seen an Ali or similarly priced screen that doesn’t attach to the bars? (I’m aware of the givi one but only from Italy and at a premium. )

Got a similar top screen for my sp1000, cheap as chips works perfectly I have to say it’s well made. 5 stars.
