stalling on the windback

Since my re-hack I’ve been very pleased with the Cali… but for a few scarey moments when after I’ve had the throttle open at about 7000 revs, when I close it the motor stalls -very much as if it’s run out of fuel- before starting again a second or two later, and running fine at about 5000…

Have you tested the TPS?If the internal track gets contaminated it can give the impression of a ‘black hole’ in the revs at that throttle point.Best checked with an analogue multimeter while very slowly winding the throttle open - you can see the needle deviate better than trying to use a digital instrument.

One of the many reasons why they are better.
I shall now get nostalgic about my old Avo no.9.iandunmore2012-10-09 12:42:53

thanks guys, I’ll see what I find…
