I have had my 2021 V85 for a year and suddenly encountered the non starting issue many have experienced. I thought I would pass on my findings as I have found other contributions very helpful. After believing it to be the battery, the battery earth and the cut out switch I found that I had 12.6V at the starter solenoid connection when operating the starter. Can I suggest this is the first port of call for those with this issue and then work back up the wiring chain. In my case it was a slightly corroded solenoid connector that caused all the problems.
