Evening ,Can anyone tell me if they have bought anything from Stein Dinse since Brexit,was there import charges etc added cheers Neil

I have not used S-D but I bought some stuff from HMB, who are also in Germany. They removed the German VAT once I entered the delivery address into the website.
I think there should have been a UK VAT payment due, which I was happy to pay but Parcelforce just delivered the parcel!

Hi Neil,

There are import charges to pay plus a charge to parcel force for organising the import charges. Also parcel force aren’t exactly quick to send you out the letter to tell your being charged the import duty. I’ve used Stein Dinse a lot over the years to get Moto Guzzi parts and I expect I still will but I will make sure I order stuff in plenty of time in future.

I have used Stein Dinse in the past and had no problems no charges at all ,but I suspect it might not the same now cheers Neil.
