Stelvio 1200 NTX Wheel Rebuild

Hi all,

I am in a position where I need to rebuild a pair of 1200 Stelvio NTX wheels. My plan is to remove the pikes and nipples and have them re-chromed. I then need to replace the O rings and C clips. I have found the size specifications of the O rings but not the material spec. I have not been able to find any information regarding the C clips. Does anyone know if I should use Nitrile or Viton O rings? If so please share the info with me. Also, can the C clips be removed and re-used? If not can they be purchased from other sources rather than Piaggio? It doesn’t appear to me that these C clips only retain the nipple and O ring into the rim prior to installing the spoke. Any advice, experience, or comment would be greatly appreciated.

My copy of Guzziology is too old for our Stelvios, try and see if there is anything in the current edition.

The parts list click here calls the O rings up as
GU90706061 - O-ring OR2025

And the C ring as
978811 - Snap ring

Thanks Chris, as I said I have the O ring dimensions but the material spec. I also would like the C Clip dimensional specs.
