Hi, I’ve tried to find caponord handguards but they seem to be no longer available. They go almost straight on a V85TT, just require some drilling out from 6mm to 10mm for the mounting holes.
I’ve found a forum post of a guy who fitted stelvio handguards to his caponord, because they are still available and also cheaper than aprillia items.
Does anybody know if they will fit a V85TT? It seems to me the mounting hole has a metal reinforcement unlike the aprillia items, so I’m not sure they will take being drilled out to 10mm.
Is anyone able to measure the diameter around the mounting hole?

I’ve put the old hand guards from my 1100 breva on to my Stelvio, the fit straight on . Stelvio , breva etc have hydraulic clutch so the left is shaped for a cylinder , might not fit right on v85
I think that will just leave an empty space rather than hit anything. I’ve got caponord guards on at the moment but I think they don’t fit well enough to stop a broken lever if the bike gets dropped.
They are bigger than the desoduro items fitted as stock though.
