Is the starter motor on my Stelvio NTX on the way out?
On the last few occasions when starting the bike from cold the starter seems to emit a subdued ‘screech’ as it starts the engine. This has manifested itself only recently and more usually when the engine is cold, only on a couple of occasions when warmed up.
The battery is always fully charged as the bike is kept on an optimate charger when not in use, and the earth wire is ok.
