Does anyone know if the genuine Guzzi tankbag for the NTX fits the earlier Stelvio as well?

Yes it will do. I had an early Stelvio and borrowed a later NTX, using my tank bag for a tour
If I remember correctly it had a stick on Velcro pad to keep it from slipping
