Any recommendations for 6 v battery?
and which way round is it connected ?. I am thinking it is neg to earth ,through the ignition switch (white wire) and positive to the blue wire ?
It is -ve earth. The ignition switch disconnects the connection to earth when you take the key out. The wiring diagram should show how it connects
Any 6volt battery will do that fits in the box, I use the sealed alarm batteries. They don’t have any great load on the system, they only operate the horn, brake light and parking lights. Something like this, just find one that will fit the space available
