I need a replacement petrol tank for my Strada 750 which has rusted through on the right hand rear corner. I’ve repaired it many times with Granville petro-patch, but there’s not much steel left!
No luck with Gutsibits or Reboot. Same as that on V35GT, V65GT and 750SP according to Gutsibits. Does anyone have one, otherwise I may have to scrap the bike

I have never tried it myself, but POR15 claims to be able to bridge over smaller holes by addition of a mat reinforcement
I sent a rusty BMW R60/5 tank to a company in devon, they cut the bottom out cleaned it and welded in a new bottom, repainted it and re sealed it
meat and two veg to them it seems
I cant remember their name though
might be cheaper in the long run
