Yes I know its Fathers Day and all that but the second Sunday is this weekend (day after our club lunch) and the 4th Sunday I will be away in Bonnie Scotland. I will understand if family commitments mean you cant come.
I have test ridden the route and this one is not going to be enormously long, probably around 3 hours in the saddle, maybe a fraction more, maybe a fraction less. I have planned it to leave from the forecourt of the Lee Mill Tesco near Ivybridge at 1030 (arrive at 1000 I will). Its not a sexy location, but it is eminently practical. We will be visiting a low place, a holy place, and a high place. I have a nice lunch stop picked out and its unique! To paraphrase Peregrin Took that lover of fine food…the gluten free cappucino cake is particularly good! And I have also made the route so its easy to split off towards the end for a quicker trip home if needed - while the other continue for a last coffee.
There is some “tight” riding at the beginning but its soon over and done with and a lot of this ride is on magnificent sweepers at medium speeds.
All the best,
Scott
