A quick heads-up about Sunday’s rideout: a magical mystery tour of the South Hams! Meet at Buckfastleigh Station, TQ11 0DZ – excellent coffee at Birdie’s Kitchen – at 10am for 10.30 departure. Then off, via big roads and small (some very small), a late morning stop, then a lunch stop around 1.30 at a very special venue run by a fellow Guzzi rider. Weather forecast superb. All welcome, members and non-members. Feel free to invite your mates, even if they ride lesser marques – the more, the merrier!
I’m hoping to come along, all being well.
Good stuff, Bob. I’ve planned a very special route – hope to see you there!
Final reminder for tomorrow’s Devon ride, a magical excursion through the heart of the South Hams: wooded coombes, picturesque river valleys, sweeping coastal vistas, tidal roads – this route has it all! Meet at Buckfastleigh Station, TQ11 0DZ at 10am for a 10.30 departure. All riders welcome.
Come on, all you shy Devon club members – you missed an absolute treat today! Come and join us next time!
Thanks guys for the run out. The South Hams ‘goat tracks’ were certainly a challenging route, and at least as tricky as any in Somerset! Great weather, views and company.
Thanks Piers for a fine run taking me to places I should have been to, but hadn’t! I think I even got a bit sunburnt somehow. Next months ride is on the 3rd Sunday of June and its my responsibility to come up with something interesting. I’ll give it a go.
