Blue Bird Camping Weekend 2024
Friday 17th - Sunday 19th May | Filching Manor, Polegate, Sussex
After the success of the Sussex Branch’s first Blue Bird Rally - shared by more than 60 Guzzisti - it’s back! This time, though, in a more pocket-friendly ‘Bring Your Own’ format.
Thanks to location owner Karl Foulks-Halbard, we can again pitch tents and park motorhomes around the Filching Manor kart track. The Sussex Branch will set up barbecues so you can cook (or burn) your own meat; we’ll also provide shelters to eat and drink whatever you bring, and where you can catch up with old friends and make new ones. Music is in the deal too, though not from a live band.
Expect toilets(!), but no showers. And while you can visit the fine on-site museum and motoring collection (headline: Sir Malcolm Campbell’s Blue Bird K3 craft), the £10 entry cost is not included. Instead, Karl will show a group round on one of the two days. We’ll also lay on a ride-out, depending on interest. Show your preferences on the entry form.

And the cost? Just £20/head to cover toilet hire and such. Payment can be via BACS, PayPal or a good old cheque - take your pick.
