Hello there ,can anyone help?.
I have taken the tacho drive out of the timing case of my lemans 2 in situ but now am worried that there may have been something on the bottom of the drive gear like a washer that may have fallen into the case,i cannot for the life of me remember,is that just the speedo gear?

There should be 2 hardened washers, one below and one above the skew gear, you might have to do a bit of fishing to retrieve the bottom one, a thin screw driver and a magnet should get it, Good luck

No lower washer,so took the timing case off, no washer in the cover or case,looks like there never was one!
