Just collected my Guzzi from service and new tyre and realised they’d left the temperature display on deg. F rather than deg. C.
I have followed the instructions in the book (hold both buttons until the unit symbol flahes, then change) and I can’t get the unit symbol to flash. Anyone else had this problem and found a cure?
All I can think of is the ignition isn’t on!
This is the word book for mine (a 2013 V7 Stone). It may be different to yours but I can’t think why…
This function allows changing the unit of
measurement (°C or °F) for air temperature.
· If the ignition key is set to “ON”,
press and hold down both keys
(A and B): the current setting,
either “EU” (°C) or “USA” (°F),
flashes on the right LCD display
(1).
· Press key (A): to shift from
“EU” (°C) to “USA” (°F) and vice
versa.
· Press and hold down key (B) for
5 seconds and the last setting is
stored permanently and the
word “OFF” is shown on the
right LCD display (1).
· To go back to the standard
mode, turn the ignition key to
“OFF”.
My V7 one works as advertised. Suzuki ones however need a fraction of a second delay between button A and B, it’s as if they can’t thing about two things at once.

Aha! I took it into Twiggers today and discovered that, <<· If the ignition key is set to “ON”,
press and hold down both keys>> means “press and hold down both keys and then turn the ignition key to on.”
What a loose translation!
Thanks to this thread it may help me to change the time on my clock. I have been stuck on Summer time since I have owned the bike ( May 2012).
Changing the clock’s easy enough. But it’s always summertime on Guzzi.
