Theres a hole.....

Seat is fine, not sure it is that much more comfortable than standard, but every little helps .

Was persuaded to go for a ride out yesterday, and got stranded in a deluge for 45 minutes. Once apparent it wasn’t going to stop, we set off, me behind an LC hybrid, so sat in his spray. Around 5 miles in, it stopped firing on the RH pot, then a short while later BANG (and I mean a BIG BANG) and it stopped.

None of us had any tools (I know I should know better), so called a mate with a van. After ringing off, I presses the button, and off it went, and didn’t miss another beat all the way home.

On the bench this morning for a clean and investigate, and the RH float bowl had a water / fuel mix, so drained that off, and all seems well again.

Interesting…
Ian Hunter did a great Tune: Once Bitten Twice Shy

This is just an early test of the relationship. Sounds like you passed so perhaps she will behave for a bit now.

They do test your patience for sure. I have had 4 big block Guzzis now, an early Mk1 back in the 80’s faultless, a Cali 1100 carb (kept running out of fuel because the actual tap was seized part open, and turning the knob just unwound the cable, a MK1 replica (NBS) last year that had electrical gremlins (overcharging cured), and now this one that has had it’s early hissy fit.
