What do the assembled think ?

S’alright I s’pose
Is the garden furniture included?
So 1 “alright” and 1 “garden furniture” comment. Not a lot of love for it then ?
Looks Good to me,
(Bike not garden furniture)
Looks good to me too, although not my favourite seat and those short exhaust would probably be noisier than I prefer.
Mk2 made to look more like a Mk 1?
Do I detect a sense of humour failure? To be honest I think the seat looks comfortable but it detracts from the look of a 70’s classic cafe racer and is not my cup of tea. The garden furniture on the other hand is minimal sleek and looks equally comfortable, I particularly like the glass table which you could sit at and examine your footwear all at the same time. The bike looks expensive, the furniture looks cheap, my wallet would stretch to the latter only.
Going to go and see it tonight (the bike, although I may make a cheeky bid for the garden furniture too).
its one of Nigel Billingsley’s creations apparently, so I will sound out the owner, and see if I like it, already been looking at seat replacements…
Not a mark 1 but a mark 2 (or possibly something else) that has been “LM1-erized”
Get frame number if you can to find out exactly what it is.
I think it looks lovely. I’d certainly buy it, if I didn’t already have more bikes than space. I even like the seat, although I can understand that it may not be to everyone’s taste.
From that picture, I’d say it looks like it has been cared for.
It’s done 43 miles since 2011, when it was “converted” to LM1 lookalike.
Polished more than anything else, it looked a treat, and just HAD to buy it.
Looks good to me.
Indeed. I can’t imagine that having gone to see it I wouldn’t be bringing it home. Even if it cost me a liver.
+1 for that.
Hope it finds its way into your garage.
Good luck
Steve
Its in my garage, delivered 5 minutes before my wife got home, so managed to get the garage door slammed shut, before she came home.
It is more of Nigel’s work done probably back in 2011, and it has done 55km between the MoT on line back in 2011, and last year, and no more have been added since, so 30 or so miles in 8 years. It’s been kept under a dust cover in a garage all this time, so looks mint. I might have a proper paint job done, this one is a bit orange peely, and the tank badges are of course “wrong”, we’ll see what I feel about it in a few days.
Just had a look and its a VE190… frame, so started life as a II and has been “1”'d.
Good God those pipes are loud !
Fairy nuff! Mucho congrats
Took it out for a (gentle) blast this afternoon, VERY impressed with the ride, lots of grunt, handling perfect, on 2011 tyres that haven’t turned a wheel really, still got all the bobblies on.
Noise, charisma, hell these get under the skin. Anyone want to buy a Suzuki GT750 ?
How was the seat? It looks like it should be comfortable enough to make the bike into a practical long distance tourer.
Glad it is going so well. There really is nothing quite like a Le Mans, once you get them up to a decent velocity.
