Thornton Curtis Bike Day - this Sat, 19th July

Not previously been to this one myself, but I’m told it’s a pretty good event with all the usual offerings..
Plus..there’s due to be one or two interesting machines on display from the John Chapman collection..
This includes stuff raced by Sheene, Dunlop, Ago and Grant.. amongst others.
The highlight being the chance to see, and most importantly hear, one of only ten Honda approved RC166 Replica’s..
These are a six cylinder, 250cc, 20,000rpm four stroke 1967 TT race bike.
Weather looks a little‘doubtful’, but I think that’s probably worth getting wet for.!
Thornton Curtis is on the south bank of the Humber, close to Barton and the Humber Bridge - DN39 6XW

Could be a wet one looking at the forecast
