I’m wanting a cover for my future rebuild of my LM square barrelled engine. It’s more to keep the damp out as I’ll fill her with oil until getting the inclination to rebuild her.
I have one that you could have. It’s not great condition and it has a filled thread on the alternator cover but for a temporary measure it’ll work ok? Where in the country are you?

That is kind of you. I wasn’t aware there were threads in the cover, just holes for the securing Allen type socket screws.

I presume the stripped thread is one of the holes for the stator?
