Top box and plate

Hi. My V7 Stone 2021 has the Moto Guzzi rear rack. Any recommended plate and top box please? I usually have a givi box but not sure if there is a better fit elsewhere as the universal givi plate looks huge and not very pretty. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe not what you asked for but I fitted a Givi Rack and plate as I like Givi Top boxes

Looks good and I love the givi boxes and bags too. Just that mine already has the Guzzi rack on it. I may try the universal givi plate. See if it’s not too big. :+1:

Wow, it’s impressive you’ve managed to fit a whole boat on it…!

Hi, I’m in the same boat as you (pun intended). I’m just wondering if you did find a plate and box that fit the Guzzi OEM rack? I also have one.

Hi, yes the universal givi monolock plate fitted really easily then the 35 litre topbox in black. Goes really well and not too big.

That’s good to know. Thanks for replying

No probs mate. I’ll load some pics if you need.

That would be cool. I’d like to see what the bike looks like with the top box.
Best wishes

It doesn’t sit too high compared to some I’ve seen and I think the pics makes it look bigger than it actually is. Ideally we wouldn’t put one on but I need somewhere for my bits and bobs and locks etc when am out. It also holds 8 cans of beer and a bottle of wine for when I get home

Stuff the gear, pack the beer! Haha. Yes, the top box lines seems to suit the bike.
You have the same colour bike as me. I get a lot of compliments about the colour, how about you?

Thank you for sharing

I forgot to ask, which model topbox is it?

Yes people really do like the colour. I normally, for no other reason than I like things matching, try to get a similar coloured helmet or just some stripes on it but no joy.
The box is a givi blade. 37 litre.

Thank you!

I don’t know if this is of any help, but my 2024 Stelvio came with a mounting plate already installed and I also have a brand new still in the box MG top box. I won’t be using either of them.

That’s handy. I’m still considering if I actually need one. It would be convenient but I’ve gotten by without one so far.

By the way, is the Stelvio as good a ride as it is to look at?

Yes, it’s a fantastic bike. You’ll have seen a few comments here and elsewhere about the (rear) suspension but I’ve found that once it’s set up correctly for the rider and his/her preferences it’s fine. It’s not as plush as the electronic suspension that I’ve been used to over the last 10 years or so, but I have no real grumbles. Everything else about the Stelvio is top-notch.
