Anyone got any tyre preferences or suggestions for Mark 3 V7 special other than OE fitments
Just a suggestion, since you can get sufficient tyre recommendations (ditto oil asks) such as to leave you more confused than before, so: check your tyre sizes, tubed or tubeless, check availability (local to you - having them fitted?) and then ask if others have any advice to offer on your intended purchase. Or… stand by ((o;
Edit: by way of elaboration, I’ve had various different (brands of) tyres on my T3, tinkered with a few slightly different sizes (e.g. fatter rear than ‘standard’) but when it came to getting the latest rear, and having it fitted (by people who could be trusted not to mash my spoked rims), I used a local firm who gave me the choice of: Avon RoadRiders. So that’s what I had!
You could ask ‘how long is a piece of string’.
For me, I have recently had pair of Avon Sprint ST fitted to my Stelvio and Avon Roadrider 2 got the V50. Why Avon you may ask, simply because they are made in the UK. I am however very very pleased with the Sprints,

Bridgestone BT 46 is a popular tyre for the V7.
I thought avon closed their UK factory recently?
sidtheedid, the report is that the Avon factory is to close by the END of 2023. Avon website still (10/4/23) advertise that the Roadrider MK2 and Spirit ST are “Proudly Made In The UK”.
Just not for much longer.
