at the moment I intend to meet at Saintfield, unless street circumstances put it in doubt / at risk. We don’t know how things will develop, with schools and businesses now closing (businesses being told to “Close at 11am - No Exceptions” 
) and road closures starting at 1pm. I think Saintfield and route over to Sketrick will not be affected. I wouldn’t be going through Belfast / Westlink and Easties would be best to avoid Stormont area where protest is called for 7pm. A final call can be made later, uncertain circumstances may mean it’s just sensible to cancel — contact me to give your thoughts. Ta and take care.

UPDATE: Tonight’s meet & ride CANCELLED
@sidthedid – I’ve just been writing final decision and was going to email you. I’ve had feedback from some others through WhatsApp — their route would be through flashpoint areas, so will not be going out. I considered reverting to Tims at Newtownards, but the route there is potentially bad for most . . . the last section alone being N’ards Rd, Stormont, and Newtownards itself. Prudent decision is to cancel tonight’s meeting.
