My 15,000 mile (standard V100) service is due soon .qurious as to how many V100 owners are already pass the 15,000 mark in general, and in particular about the service:
- What was the total labour cost?(In Hr terms)
- Were the valve clearances within spec, or
an adjustment was required? - Was the alternator belt replaced as per
the recommendation? If so how did you
or your mechanic determined the tension
frequency(180Hz is the spec), dd he use a digital frequency meter, or just thumb gauged it? The belt on my bike seemed pretty loose from dayy 1 and has a reasonant frequency at 2200 rpm where it squeeks.
