Moto Guzzi Announces V100 Mandello European Pricing And Pre-Orders (rideapart.com)
The UK prices are on the official Moto Guzzi website now
100 Mandello Ā£13.500
V100 Mandello S Ā£15,750
Ah good, they werenāt there yesterday. Or maybe I looked in the wrong place.
Cheers Uki
I guess the prices are around the expected level.
Shame I canāt have a red one in āSā specā¦
Might wait a while - will have to chop in the BMW anyway!
The price is now published but does anyone know what is included on the S model over the standard model and if there are any any optional extras? Local Moto Guzzi garages have less knowledge than me.
It appears that the 100 yr green/silver bike is an S as is the grey Aviation special. The red and the white colours are reserved for standard models - shame as I liked the red.
The wheels are either gold or black depending on the publicity shots or show. It is a mystery of the universe as to what will actual be for sale.
For a bike, first shown to the World in 2019, Moto Guzzi seem not to have finalised the details - you cant rush a good bike?
If you have any information please do share it.
I signed up for being kept up to date on Guzziās official site with the hope of being kept up to date!!! I received an email earlier this week inviting me to pre-order, with no mention when the bikes will be in the showrooms. Strange way of doing business!
Moto Guzzi rang me a couple of weeks ago to tell me that the bikes will be coming into the country at the end of October with test rides early November
Details are thin on the ground. The only difference I found out was the the S has active suspension.
November may well be the best time to open a new supermarket to get the Christmas rush, but test rides on a new motorcycle on salty roads (at best) beggars belief.
Iām looking forward to a test ride, but wonāt be splashing the cash first a year or so (if at all) as the BMW will have to be sold!
Despite all the promo videos with bikes fitted with gold wheels, these are not available except with a white colour scheme? All the recent youtube videos are unofficial adverts not reviews. They all use the same footage and do not involve anyone riding the bike.
Oh dear, I think I want one.
There is a review, with a video on the MCN site now.
āSlits in its side panels mimic their 1976 Le Mans 850ā Do they not mean the 1974 850T?
Iāve sent MCN an email pointing out the error in their review. The world is full of pedants, well this part of Essex certainly is!
Iāll arrange a test ride when demos are available, but I wonāt be rushing out to buy one until there is a solid track record of a few years reliable trouble free production. Thereās a great deal (for Guzzi) of new technology in the power train, and I hope there isnāt a repeat of QA issues along the lines of the 8V flat tappets that dogged the early 1200 hi cam motors. The position of the exhaust location from the heads takes some getting used to, but it must have packaging advantages that creates more kneeroom as the throttle bodies can be positioned in the Vee. But itās great to see Guzziās investment in this new platform and I hope itās a sales success, the brand really needs a bike like this to encourage new customers
V100 wheelbase is 58.1ā - 3 inches shorter than a Grisoās, same as a red framed V11
Iām mortified. Waiting for years for MG to issue something like this and then they do it as Iām finishing my own āversionā , built because I was fed up with waiting!
As they say on other foraā¦
This post is useless without pictures
Yeh, well like I said, aināt finishedā¦ā¦ yet
