Went out for a ride yesterday and got cought out in the rain, i raised the screen and rode home. First time getting the bike wet.
Come out this morning to find the screen would not retract under its own power, it needed a bit of help.
Has anyone had any issues with this
Not so far but not done a lot of wet riding. Lotsa linkages on that arm. How about a good shower of WD?

My next step is look up lubricant.
That was my one and only time getting cought out with the weather.
2025 plate bike, 3 months out of the showroom. Not impressed

Little update to this. I took my bike in under warranty. Appears the screen frame needed lubrication. Seems to work stronger and better than it ever has.

Hi there. My bike has been out in all weathers and I use ACF-50 all over. Winters are a bit harsh here in Ontario and the roads are covered in salt. My Griso V85TT and the V100 all have a good bath in the stuff and so far all look good.
ACF-50, Anti-Corrosion Formula, is a state of the art, anti-corrosion lubricant compound, specifically designed for the Aerospace Industry. It is an ultra Thin Fluid Compound (TFFC) that actively treats metal using advanced polar bonding technology.
ACF-50 actively penetrates and “creeps” into the tightest seams, lap joints, micro cracks, and around rivet heads, displacing moisture and other corrosive fluids (orange juice, coke, coffee, salt water) in these corrosive prone areas.
ACF-50’s thin film acts like an “OFF SWITCH” for corrosion remaining effective for up to 24 months.
Kills and stops corrosion on contact.
Protects, Penetrates, Lubricates.

Hi, Just been reading your issues regards the screen on I think your V100. I too have a V100 and the screen has stopped working. I can hear the motor when the bike is not running, but the screen won’t retract from its upwards position. Was the onging solution just lubrigating the mechanism. When I spoke to the dealer they suggested it could be something called an Actuator which is quite expensive to replace with labour on top. Just trying to find the solution without spending a fortune.
It was a lack of lubrication. The mechanic said he tried to hold the screen motor, but it was to strong for him to hold.
The result of him greasing everything is, the screen now works better than when I rode it out of the showroom.
Happy days

Thats great. Thank you for coming back to me. I will give it a go and see what results I get.
Presumably silicone grease if there are plastic parts?
Sorry I can’t tell you what grease the mechanic used, the pivot pins are metal as for nylon parts, I don’t know
Silicon spray would be better as WD40 desolves oil and grease.
