V100 Stelvio Hazard Lights

Hi all,

I’ve just picked up a new Stelvio Duecento Tributo and had a question regarding hazard lights (four-way flashers).

Does anyone know for certain whether there is a manual activation method for hazard lights on this bike?

I’ve checked both the owner’s manual and the Moto Guzzi workshop manual, and neither appears to describe any rider-activated function. The only references I can find are to situations where all indicators may flash automatically (fault conditions, emergency braking, etc.).

Before I start experimenting with button combinations or assume it simply doesn’t have them, I thought I’d ask if anyone has a definitive answer.

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked the handlebar switches for one marked with a triangular hazard symbol? On the Stelvio 1200 NTX that’s currently in my garage it’s right in the middle of the r/h switchgear. Also I would think that the Owner’s Manual should tell you?

I have looked and nothing obvious as a hazard switch. The latest V100 stelvios use CAN bus to do everything and shares same switchgear and electrics and ECU and TFT and so on with v100 Mandello and the newer E5+ Air cooled V85 and V7 types plus some Aprillias. And yes, I have looked at the owners manual and the workshop manual and nothing obvious there either hence my shout out to everyone. I appreciate I might have missed soemthing but I have looked.

There is no Hazard light facility

On the v85tt there is a button on the right switch group with a barely readable hazard sign that sets them off. - this may help you?

Allow me to moan a while: you cannot reach it when things are getting tricky because you are the throttle, you cannot find it because it is not marked and you cannot turn it off when it is not needed because it does not light up or flash FFS

I don’t think I’ve never needed mine anyway and the red triangle has rubbed off somehow - certainly wasn’t rubbed off from using it
