v100 to france

I am moving to France with UK v100 ,will I need to change headlights for french CT test ,guzzi want 180 euros for conformity certificate ,truimph and royal Enfield are free, thanks Moto guzzi

You may wish to check the part numbers for the headlight. Many bikes have non-aligned headlights (straight on wherever you buy it from and use it). Your other option, if that’s not the case, would be Beam Deflectors.

most modern private vehicles including cars and vans have them set in the middle.

i hired a brand new van recently here and drove over to spain no problem.

easy to check if your bike is central or beams left, point it at a wall when its dark, as if you are adjusting the lights ready for MoT.

my Breva has a neutral headlight, only thing to watch out for is spotlights
my idiot brother was dazzling every one with his silly spotlights, because the left hand one is set higher, when he was not looking I got an allen key and reset them, he told me they had change, they must be self leveling !!! its a BMW GS, or rather was as the scum have nicked it
a V85 is arriving this week for him

self levelling

Doesn’t your V5 state the Type Approval number?
