Has anyone tracked down an aftermarket Rear Hugger for the V100S (or V100 for that matter). The rear end is a nightmare in poor weather, gets everything wet and filthy and the aero at the rear shares spray throughout the bike. Have tried the obvious like Pyramid and Powerbronze.
I wish driving me nuts, larger screen no problem, sat nav mount no problem, foot peg lowering kit no problem handlebar risers no problem, finding someone who makes a longer rear hugger for those of us who are more bothered about function over allege current style and fashion dream on sunshine, the Badger
Totally, totally agree. I’m furious with MG for turning out such an utterly useless, utterly crap design.
There is a small challenge about how to support a bigger rear mudguard, although it should be perfectly possible to use a caliper bolt. This is how the front extra-long extender from Pyramid is supported, so it must be OK. There is also a threaded hole that could be used.
One thing that pisses me off is that the aftermarket suppliers seem almost as bad when it comes to style-before-function. I’ve made my opinions about the sump guard clear in another thread!
It is not beyond the wit of man to hang another bit of plastic over the rear wheel I agree. As much as i wish the aftermarket makers could be a bit bolder with their designs (I have a couple of extenders for the front of bikes, and they could do with being twice as long as they are), nonetheless they are at least helping to resolve to some extent a problem that the bike manufacturers should have obviated with the brush of a pencil at design stage. As for fashion over function, I am not convinced something that looks out of proportion is prticularly stylish! Do better manufacturers.
