Hello. I keep thinking I need a V11 Sport, but I wonder if there are any issues/foibles I should be wary of? I’ve had an 850T/T3 since the mid 1980s but would like a more modern, quicker, more reliable Guzzi to bimble about on, as well. (I also fancy a Griso, but the rollerisation issue has put me off.) Don’t really want to spend time taking bikes apart anymore - beyond regular maintenance and servicing. Just want to ride the damn things. Any advice much appreciated. Thanks, Ian Woods
An early Griso 1100 with the 2 valve engine doesn’t have the cam follower problems and is very reliable.
The 4 valve 1200 is the problem child, however they are great if sorted
