V35TT Engine breather

Hi

I have two breather pipes that come out of the rocker covers and go to a single fixing on the airbox. There is a smaller pipe behind that (circled on the photo) what is it for?

I also have a pipe on the lowest part of the airbox, behind the carbs, which is connected to a hose from the sump.

Have I got it set up right?

Thanks

I am no expert on this model, but looking at the parts book for the V35 road version, there seems to be a pipe running down from the next part of air box assembly. That may well be the return that goes to the back left corner of the sump.

Ive got the same arrangement on my V50. You are correct with the two connections. The third one, just behind the cylinder head connection I couldn’t find any details for anywhere so I blanked it off and it all works fine. I did leave it open for my first ride after the rebuild and ended up with oil everywhere. These engines breathe oil very heavily.

Hi. I don’t think I am right. The one behind the cylinder head connection goes to the sump, and is an oil drain. The one at the back of the air box vents to ground.
