I am in the final throws of rebuilding a V50II and have just realised that I don’t have the inside vent hose that sits inside the airbox (see pic). It looks like it’s a part that I can make. Does anyone have the measurements of the part by any chance?
I might be remembering wrong, but I think the item circled in red is a steel pipe.
There must be loads of them sitting in people’s sheds because so many bikes have been converted to pod filters.

Yes, its small bore steel tube . From what l remember it clips on to two lugs on the back of part 9, goes through a hole in part 15 and over a notch on part 14 . A very delicate assembly. All would be going right till the last moment when it would all drop away at the end and you would have to start all over again. It was such a pain in the anus l think thats why many owners swapped to pod filters.
Hi
Yes is a steel pipe. I might have one in the garage. I’ll look tomorrow (Sunday) and let you know
Steve
Awesome. That would be great if you have!
Studying the moulded rubber clip in the airbox it looks like the t-piece may be an 8mm o/d pipe but the place where the longer part clips looks like it could be a larger bore a possibly 10mm?

Hi Nik. The link doesn’t work. Is it listed on eBay? Cheers. Dave
Hi David
Hopefully you can now see the picture!
Regards, Nik
Hi Nik. Thanks for the picture however it appears to differ from the one shown in the original drawings. Do you know why this is? Cheers Dave
Yes i know it looks different but they are all like the one in my picture. Look on eBay and you will see!
Hi Nik, that’s fine if that’s how it is. I’d like to move things forward so what’s the next step please?
David
I have sent you a PM.
