Hi everyone. Seeking help/advice on pannier cases for my V50 Monza - I’m not keen on new cases, but seem to be struggling to find solid information on older cases that fit the bike. Any guidance on what was standard issue or compatible, from around the mid-80s and 90s, would be greatly welcomed! Cheers.
I don’t recall seeing any “standard” luggage for the Monday, back in the day - after all, it was (is) very much a light and lean sports bike… a bit wallet and toothbrush territory?

Back in the day 1982 it was throw over panniers or a bag on the seat, no hard luggage was available.

If you ride with no pillion, those ones used to fit into rear footpeg mountings on V50s, but where the spindle goes through, it’s indicator’s stem usual place, so you’d need to move them. And it’s doable, as police V50 had them, those white-and-blue ones, Polizia Municipale, look at the web. And let me clarify, I do regret I sold them long time ago!

These are quite spectacular pieces, worth keeping an eye out for a set. Thanks for the good tip. They look heavy but that’s the nature of older bikes and accessories.
