V50 replacement coils

Hi

Due to failure, I’m looking for replacement coils for my V50 mkII.

Guzziology recommends the Dyna DC3-1, but Dyna also have the DC3-2, which is smaller and has similar fixings to the original.

However the DC3-2 is only suitable for dwell controlled ignition systems - so, does anyone know if the original mkII ignition is dwell controlled?

I’m running replacement coils on my mk II but don’t recollect what I bought (so I’m no help at all then). Try talking to the boys at Gutsibits - that’s probably where I got them from.
