So here I am. A recent Guzzi convert. I bought a V7 111 Stone in October last year, spent a little money & time to make it fit me & I now love riding it. But I hate the shite Guzzi electrics! The lcd display on the clock began to play up almost as soon as I acquired it. Sometimes working & sometimes not. The whole clock unit has now failed & I need to cover the face with a piece of gaffer tape to hide the flashing lights & use Google maps speedo on my phone. I am told that the unit is not repairable & that MG does not sell spares. So a new unit for £594 plus fitting!
Off to the continent soon & was really looking forward to riding the Guzzi. Lost confidence so have bought a BMW to do the trip. Sad but I want to be able to get home without assistance.
