I noticed that the service manual for the V7 E5+ has a couple of changes compared to the E5
This is the E5+ table
2.7 Capacity
CAPACITY
Fuel tank capacity (including reserve) 21 l (4.62 UK gal; 5.55 US gal)
Fuel tank reserve capacity 4 l (0.88 UK gal; 1.06 US gal)
Engine oil Oil change and oil filter replacement: 1750 cc
in (106.79 cu in)
Gearbox oil 700 cc (42.72 cu in)
Transmission oil (Change) 125 - 130 cc (7.63 - 7.93 cu in)
So 700 cc vs 500 (E5) for gearbox oil and 125-130 cc for final drive vs 180 (E5)
That’s surprising - anyone know if the new figures are correct and why ?
I’d seen a fairly experienced reviewer on YouTube who has bought one as a keeper. He seemed to suggest the V7 Sport has an assist/slipper clutch. I presumed it would be the same dry clutch as the E5 models - but then an increase in gearbox oil might suggest otherwise?
Confusing
It’s the same dry clutch as the E5 , and the final drive and gearbox casings seem identical on the exterior. I can sort of understand specifying less oil for refilling the final drive to avoid a blown seal - its the 200 cc extra oil in the gearbox that doesn’t seem right.
When the time comes I think I’ll just measure what comes out and refill with the same amount.
1000 miles on mine and starting to run beautifully

Don’t you fill the gear oil to the level of the filler plug? Pump it in until it overflows
