Can anyone confirm whether the head (valve/rocker) covers on the V7 Classic / Mk II / Mk III are interchangeable at all?
So, could you replace the Mk II lack cover with one from a Mk iii? Would any modification be required?

Looking at the diagrams on the Fowlers Parts website, it would seem that Mk II and Mk III are incompatible, but Mk I and II may be OK…
Just interested in options for customising my Mk II Special…

I’m sure I have seen pictures of people fitting the old V50 covers etc on the newer V7’s.
