Hi Paul
I am unable to respond by your private message so i hope the following info will reach you. The spray paint i used was mixed up by Car Colour services of Romford Essex. The colour is an Hyundai electric green oem code TK brand code 9VWDB .
Cheers Graham.
Paul who? You can @ a member in a post and they are notified of the ‘mention’.
Thank you, Graham. Just spotted your reply in the general forum.
I don’t suppose you have a photo of the finished result?
Thanks, Paul
Hi Paul i have 3 photos that i took to check the colour .I have seen V7sports with varying shades of green but this is what i was looking for.
Paul,
The correct colour for the V7 Sport is Legnano Green. You can buy the paint from RS Paints in UK. Motorcycle & scooter paint - touch up or respray for Honda Yamaha Ducati Kawasaki Triumph BMW Harley Suzuki Aprilia KTM Classic Vintage | RS Bike Paint
This is a two part process. First the tank is painted silver, then the clear green candy coat is applied - 2 to 3 coats to arrive at the correct colour.
Cheers, Derek

Thank you Graham. Nice colour but not quite what I’m after. Your tank shape does not look like mine, whereas Derek’s photo is identical
Interestingly, I have obtained touch up samples of Legnano Green from RS Paints and after several coats on a piece of spare metal it is nowhere like Derek’s photo! Very difficult to get a good coat with a touch up brush. I am going to talk to my spray painter.
Where are you based Paul? I only ask as my mate painted my V7 Sport is in Stroud, Gloucestershire. He’s pretty busy, but does a good job - in case you need a painter.
Hi Derek, I am in North Suffolk. Regarding paint matching I have had a stroke of luck: I removed one of the side panels and to my great delight discovered that the back of it was still the original green in nearly perfect condition. I have just shown it to my painter and he is going to send it to his paint supplier (Morelli Paints Norwich) so they can do a perfect match - so he assures me!
Hi Paul,
If you are in Suffolk I can recommend Barnham Vehicle Services in Ingham. I had my Ducati GTS painted by them in 2014. Made In Italy use them for all their paint jobs. The technique is the same, candy over silver. I don’t think you can get the same effect any other way.
