V7Sport superseal connector under seat

Does anyone know what this connector is for under the seat of my ‘26 V7 sport ?

I was looking for the usual USB superseal connector (well hidden under the rubber fuse housing) but also found this

Any chance of a photo of the superseal usb connector ??

Here it is. It’s labeled usb on the cable.

ecu/diagnostic socket? doesn’t look like the diagnostic socket on my v85 but they use non standard plugs not the car OBD ones

Well in addition to the USB connector and the broad flat connector I’m trying to identify in my first post it does have a regular OBD EUR 5 A connector.

Im wondering if the flat connector is an additional accessory power feed - for heated grips for example.

What does the wiring diagram say?

Part No: 2s001450 is a genuine USB plug socket that fits the 2 pin Super Seal connector.

From what i can see the 6 pin connector which only has 4 wires attached is probably for something your model does not come std with.

On older models Orange is associated with power to the Indicator Switch from the Relay. Black/Blue is power to the Relay. Black/White is power /earth return via switch of somesort some i’m guessing Hazard Light Relay and a different Switch on the Bars, maybe?

Thanks for your reply Nik

I think you are right - it’s for some sort accessory . Nothing I can see in the Guzzi accessory catalog seems to use that connector.

I’ll ask my dealer when I get the first service in June & report back

May not help, but I have the diagram for V7 III Stone (it nearly matches my 2021 V7 850), and on it is an obviously unused connector entitled in the key listing as: ‘Pre-installation Bluedash’, which I doubt you would guess in a million years!

However it is 8-way with 5 used pins, two of which are the can-bus network.

The other three are blue to ground, orange as ign. live, and white with a blue stripe going to ABS and ECU modules.
